Depression

What is depression?

Depression impacts your mood, motivation, and your body. You may feel low or flat with difficulty experiencing positive emotions and lack interest in things you normally enjoy .

Current explanations of depression describe a nuanced relationship between genetics, biology, life events, and psychological, or personality, traits. The combination of these factors and how they relate to each other depends on the individual and their experiences.

It is important to understand how your symptoms developed and the ways in which you currently cope with them. Together we can identify the main areas keeping the depression going and find new ways to tackle them.

Explore the problem and identify the key factors involved.
