My Approach

Therapy is a collaborative process and aims to help you make sense of the main issues you are experiencing and find ways to overcome them as a team. I provide a friendly and non-judgmental environment that enables people to feel comfortable discussing any areas of difficulty.

There are many psychotherapeutic approaches. I am qualified to deliver one of the most widely prescribed forms of psychological therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

With a strong track record for helping people with common and severe mental health problems, CBT has been shown to be effective for depression and anxiety disorders including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety, low self-esteem, health anxiety, panic disorder, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

CBT is highly adaptive to an individual’s needs and draws from a wide range of theoretical models. It helps to reach a shared understanding of different problems in a way that is easy to grasp and identifies key areas to focus on.

We will work together by incorporating your strengths to build resilience and prevent your problems from holding you back.

Book an Appointment

Once you have submitted the form below I will contact you to arrange a 15-20 minute introduction call. We can discuss the main reasons for you seeking support and how we want to proceed. If I feel a different approach would be more beneficial, I will discuss this with you and provide the relevant information.
