Social Anxiety

Social Anxiety is very common and often underpinned by a fear of being negatively perceived or judged by other people.

You might find yourself trying different ways to help feel less anxious in social situations such as going on your phone, preventing awkward silences, using alcohol, or even avoiding certain situations like parties or other social events.

We will look at understanding what is happening for you in social situations and how this has developed over time. Together, we will learn ways to reduce any unwanted anxiety and give you more confidence when facing any social situations in the future.
